Food For Families

About the Event
The 30th Annual Food for Families Drive is NOVEMBER 22, 2019 and the biggest food drive of the year in our community. Our goal is to raise awareness about local food insecurity and to collect 300,000 pounds of food. All donations collected will support the Love of Christ, Churches Touching Lives for Christ, St. Vincent de Paul and Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church.
We've teamed up with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple, KWTX, HEB and the Boy Scouts of America to host the biggest one day food drive in Texas. On NOV 22 Operation Feeding Temple and a team of volunteers will be at BSWH in parking lot 4B, closest to the corner of South 25th Street and West Ave R on Scott and White Blvd. to collect donations, both non-perishable and monetary! Every dollar donated will purchase 2.5 pounds of food.
If you, your business or organization would like to support Food for Families please send us a message and let us know how you would like to help! This food drive will help feed our neighbors throughout the winter months and beyond. So, gather your co-workers, friends and neighbors and let's make the 30th Annual Food for Families drive the best one yet!
